Summer FAQ

Sending your son to Timanous is a big decision. We are confident that through this experience he will grow in maturity, independence and tolerance, and develop his capacity to handle new situations. Our combination of supportive role models, a diverse camper group, exciting activities, beautiful natural surroundings, a tradition of quality and a positive approach to all that we do creates a summer of tremendous experiences and sheer fun.

We are excited to speak with you about our program and can put you in contact with current camp families.

You can reach us at: info@timanous.org or 207-655-4569.

A note on our session options:
It's more important today than ever for boys to slow down, unplug and connect. A summer at Timanous is a time when your son can recharge from a hectic school year and have the mental and emotional space to develop the interpersonal skills that are so important in life. Through our decades of experience running multiple sessions, we believe that a full seven-week season has a positive impact far beyond what simply doubling the time at camp would suggest. While any summer at Timanous can be a hugely positive experience, we encourage you to consider the opportunity that allows for the most growth.

Camper Registration

The tuition covers all camp activities including woodshop, crafts, waterskiing, entertainment, camping trips, awards, laundry, health insurance and the yearbook. It does not pay for transportation to and from camp, uniforms, baggage charges or optional tutoring. Please note our payment schedule:
