Frequently Asked Questions

I’m only planning to stop by for a little while. Do I still need to register?
Yes. All attendees must register in advance. The deadline to register is May 31, 2022.

If you are only planning to attend for a portion of the week or weekend, please contact our Event Coordinator, SRS Events at reunion@timanous.org or (207) 956-1686.
May I register on-site when I arrive at the reunion?
No. All attendees must register in advance.

In order for us to adequately prepare we need to know in advance if you are coming. This will ensure we have enough food, seating and staff to accommodate you and safely run camp activities and programs.

The deadline to register is May 31, 2022.
I registered but I can no longer attend. Do you provide refunds?
Yes. Refunds can be issued until July 12, 2022.
I would prefer to send a check instead of paying online. What do I do?
Please contact our Event Coordinator, SRS Events at reunion@timanous.org or (207) 956-1686.
Is there special pricing for children?
Children aged 12 and under are eligible for discounted pricing. Please contact our event coordinator SRS Events at reunion@timanous.org or (207) 956-1686 for more information.
Why are tickets more expensive for this reunion than they were for the 100th?
We are planning a special and unique experience for attendees, and the costs to produce an event are deeply impacted by the global supply chain issues, staffing shortages, and increased supply costs, that the country is currently facing.

Please know that registration prices reflect our commitment to keeping the reunion as accessible to as many families as possible, and we do not envision making a profit.

If the cost to attend the reunion is a hardship for you or someone you know, please contact us. We want to ensure that everyone who wants to attend is able to do so, regardless of their financial status.
When is check in available?
Check in is available from 1:00pm on Friday, August 12th through the morning of Sunday, August 14th.
What does my registration include?
Your registration includes participation in activities, events, and meals throughout the weekend.

If you register for on-campus housing in a cabin your ticket includes a reserved bed as well as sheets, pillow and pillowcase, blanket and towels.

If you register for on-campus housing in a tent your ticket includes a reserved campsite. You will need to bring your own tent and camping gear.
What t-shirt size should I order?
The shirt is a unisex design. There is no separate men's vs women's fit. The supplier suggests women order down one size down from their usual size.
What is the alcohol policy?
Alumni Reunion Weekend is a B.Y.O.B. event (Bring Your Own Beverage). Camp will provide non-alcoholic beverages during social hours and meals, as well as throughout the day (water, juice, coffee and tea). You are welcome to bring your own wine, beer or liquor and mixers to enjoy responsibly throughout the weekend. We recommend bringing a cooler to store your beverages, as refrigeration space will not be available. There will be a designated area near the Barn to keep your cooler throughout the weekend.

The law in Maine states only those 21 years and older are permitted to consume alcohol. For your own health and safety, and that of Timanous as an ACA accredited camp, you may not consume alcohol if you are under 21 years old.

Remember, it is against the law to purchase or provide alcohol to anyone underage. We expect responsible behavior from all attendees.

Maine has strict drunk driving laws. We want this to be a safe and enjoyable weekend for everyone, do not drink and drive.

Any abuse of these policies could result in your dismissal from the reunion.
What is the smoking policy?
Smoking is permitted in only one designated location across the street; you will be receiving a map upon check-in that will indicate where to find the smoking area. If you have any questions or need help finding it, please see the Help Desk. The use or possession of marijuana, or any other controlled substances or drugs is not permitted at camp.
May I bring my dog?
Pets are not permitted to stay on camp.

If you are staying off camp and must bring your dog, it is required to be on a leash at all times. We expect you will pick up after them and that their shots and vaccinations are up to date.
Why can’t I know sooner about my housing assignment?
Given the number of people we are expecting there are a number of factors that will determine housing assignments. As such we cannot distribute housing assignments until you arrive at camp.
Why can’t I identify who will be staying in my cabin?
When you register you are welcome to indicate individuals whom you would like to stay with on-campus. We will do our best to accommodate these requests but they cannot be guaranteed.

Given the number of people we are expecting there are a number of factors that will determine housing assignments. As such we cannot distribute housing or roommate assignments until you arrive at camp.
