WE DID IT!
In 2017, the Timanous Foundation was formed to preserve Timanous as we know and love it for future generations. Originally a $5 million campaign, the Second Century Campaign total goal was increased to $7.3 million in recognition of what was needed to fully realize camp's nonprofit vision:
Under the banner of Rise, Camp Timanous during the final phase of the campaign, we exceeded each of these benchmarks and raised a total of over $7.4 million! Read the celebration announcement here. We are incredibly grateful that, due to the extraordinary generosity of our entire community, Timanous will continue to positively impact the growth of Body, Mind and Spirit for generations of campers to come. |
Over 500 alumni, camper parents and grandparents, and many other friends have given gifts of all sizes. Thank you to all for your support!
Sandy Tattersall Fund
We believe Timanous has a profound ability to enrich the life of any camper. With our campership program, a broader community of boys has been able to gain from the camp experience. Most importantly, it allows for all boys to learn and grow amongst a more diverse camper body in our communal environment. We are committed to increasing the diversity of our community and making the Timanous experience available to even more boys who would not otherwise be able to attend.
With his family’s blessing, the Sandy Tattersall Fund campership endowment has been named in Sandy’s memory. Sandy was a 52-year veteran of camp and a Timanous icon: an athlete and leader as a camper in the 1960s, a beloved member of the counseling staff in the 1970s and 1980s, and Program Director until his death in 2017. He was the ethical and spiritual voice of the Timanous spirit. We miss him deeply. |
The Timanous Fund
The Timanous Fund is designed to build camp's financial resilience to guard against unforeseen challenges and enable Timanous to seize future opportunities as they arise. The fund supports critical infrastructure upgrades, including kitchen modernizing, barn improvements, new castles and septic systems, and expanded administrative offices and staff work areas. In essence, The Timanous Fund will guarantee that the campus and infrastructure will continue to be maintained and improved into the future. Please consider making an unrestricted donation to The Timanous Fund. Future campers and counselors will thank you.
